About Faizal

count on your parents, siblings or friends—simply turn around, and I will be by your side. We haven’t met yet, but I know what you’re going through. I understand the disappointment and dejection you feel when adults discourage you, or when other kids make you feel terrible for just being different. I get the pressure to be the best person you can be, but at the same time, being your own person and discovering how you want to make your mark on the world. We haven’t met yet, but [pullquote position="right"]I know what it’s like to have a teacher who makes you feel like nothing you do is good enough.[/pullquote] And it hurts, and it’s a terrible thing to go through. But I also know what it feels like to have your life changed by a teacher who encourages you and knows you can accomplish anything, because they see your potential. It’s one of the best feelings around. We haven’t met yet, but I believe nothing is going to stop you from your dreams. I believe in you. Love, Your future teacher

About the lesson

Students, I know we’re going to have a productive year. I hope I give you an A. Remember, A’s don’t define you, but since you want them, I hope you get them. And I hope you get everything else you want out of life — especially the things you have to work hard for. I want you to be proud of yourselves, knowing there’s nothing you can’t achieve.
