About HEE JIN

Heejin is an alumnus of Fashion Institute of Technology . She graduated in 2023, and has worked in the industry even before then. She is a co-founder of her own Fashion brand that has launched this year. She has worked at various brands, and winning all top FASHION AWARD / COMPETITION.

Her diverse experience gives her a true understanding from the design process, construction to production. "

In my previous work, I have tutored for a small group or one on one for portfolio prep . As an emerging designer in New York fashion industry, I train and work with lots of young students in developing their skills.

I will go through your portfolio of work to create a bespoke plan in a series of lessons to get to where you want to be!

Heejin is able to help you build a portfolio/body of work for applications for Fashion courses as well as improving skills in areas of Fashion.

She will pinpoint areas of improvement to push students further to think conceptually. Amy focuses on Design Development, Concept, Ideation, Moodboard, Presentation, Fabrics and textiles, Fabric Manipulation, Digital manipulation, Illustration, Pattern Cutting and Draping. Digital skills are extremely important for any Fashion Design student. Amy has extensive skills in Adobe Suite and can guide students in these areas for a professional portfolio.
