About Afdal

The name’s Afdal. I lived and studied in Japan, and somewhere along the way the language stopped being something I was learning and became something I love. The culture, the way of thinking, the small details in how things are expressed — it’s beautiful, and I want to pass that on, not just teach grammar rules. Whether you’re picking up your first hiragana or pushing through N3 grammar, I’ll make sure you walk away with real understanding, not memorized answers.

About the lesson

Lessons are built around you — real conversations, anime and pop culture to keep things engaging, and structured JLPT exam strategy so you walk into the exam prepared, not guessing. No pressure, no judgment, just steady progress at your own pace. From absolute beginner (N5) through N3. Classes taught in English and Malay.
