About Ross
I am a fiddle player with around 12 years of experience playing the fiddle. During that time I have been involved in Ceilidh Trails and Fèisean, and I regularly play at sessions and ceilidhs in Glasgow. I also have previously been in charge of Glasgow University Trad Group, where my responsibilities included teaching tunes, running sessions and playing at a variety of events.

I am offering tuition at a beginner/intermediate level. My lessons are centred on the Scottish and Irish styles, and cover topics such as bowing, intonation, tone, phrasing, and ornamentation. I usually teach tunes by ear, however sheet music can be provided if necessary.
