About Maria
I'm a Colombian sculptress based in Vancouver. My preferred medium is water-based clay, but I also have sculpted with: modeling chocolate, oil-based clay, polymer clay, cookie dough, to name some. I'm very calm and like to support my students in achieving their artistic goals.

My lessons are personalized. I like to be guided by my students' ideals, goals, and drive. Having those in mind, I'll modify my lessons to fit your needs, but what applies for everyone is that these lessons are meant to be fun, stress-free, and a mindfulness practice. I just want people to connect with their own instinct through the oldest form of art in human history. We can go beyond figurative sculpture and experiment together with clay in a chill hands-on practice.
