Are you finding it difficult to start the conversation, or find the right words when communicating in Filipino? Are you planning a trip to the Philippines and are looking for a crash course that will make your travel a little easier and more memorable? Do you want to learn Filipino because you never got the chance to back then and are hoping to embrace this beautiful part of yourself? Or are you simply looking to brush up on your Tagalog skills? Well, you've come to the right place! I am here to teach you everything you need to know to become a more confident speaker and writer!

You see, teaching has always been my passion because I believe in the importance of education. I have been teaching Filipino for several years now to both children and adults of all levels from different parts of the world. I am willing to do whatever it takes to ensure that my students get the best learning experience.

As for my teaching techniques, I recognize that all students are unique. We learn in different ways so I design lessons with your needs and goals in mind. If you wish to learn by following a lesson plan, we can most certainly do that! I will identify your strong and weak points and design a lesson plan that's tailored to your needs. If you're interested in having informal conversations instead, we can definitely do that as well! We can talk about anything under the sun. I even offer fun activities if that's something you're into. It's really you who's in charge here. Whether you need help with your pronunciation, sentence structure, or just your overall vocabulary, I am here to teach you - to help you become a more confident speaker and writer.

Remember, learning a new language may seem difficult at first, but just with any other skill, it requires a lot of time, dedication, and most importantly, practice. While reading books and watching movies may be helpful, the best way to learn a new language is by actually conversing with someone who is fluent in the language itself.

About the lesson

I offer lessons to people of all ages and levels. If you're a beginner, I am excited to join you in your language learning journey! We will have so much fun together. If you've been learning for some time now, that is wonderful! We can focus on the areas you struggle with so you can sound like a native in no time at all!

I have taught really young children from years before and they are fluent speakers now. I engage them in fun activities involving music, games, videos, and art. For adults, we can watch videos, read books and articles, describe pictures, follow a lesson plan or simply talk. The possibilities are endless!

I love teaching and I definitely love challenges! I know how difficult it is to learn a foreign language (I speak three languages and am currently learning a fourth one) but please don't fret! It might be overwhelming at first but once you start learning and practicing, it will get easier. I will make sure you have the smoothest journey possible! :)
