About Ava
Growing up with a Spanish-speaking Mom and an English-speaking Dad there have always been specific areas I couldn't quite get the hang of. I excelled in Spanish classes at school completing Honors Spanish I-IV with no problems at all but I knew students who had problems with the things I already knew from home and were good at the things I didn’t as well as Spanish-speaking kids like myself struggling with grammar and sentence structure. I’m here to say I get it and help with the things you need not overwhelm you with the things you don’t.

As someone who spoke both Spanish and English growing up, I understand that there are just certain areas of a language that may confuse you while others will come naturally that’s where I come in. I will help you learn specific skills or help with certain areas during summer or after school hours.
