About Rea

I am a film graduate who is also a graphic designer, photographer, and a sound engineer with a handful of experience. Won best documentary of the year in a national film competition. Worked along clothing brands and actresses from 7de Laan.

About the lesson

Liberalism and having fun is a very important part of my personality and methodology. Being able to use image and sound to convey a message is a beautiful experience. Which I'm excited to share with. It's about telling your story without the fear of being censored.

All of our reviews are collected by us and are 100% reliable. They correspond to a real experience lived by the teacher's students.

Perfect! My photography mentor is simply the best. Through his lessons, I've not only learned how to use my camera, but I've developed a new way of seeing the world. He's helped me see beauty in the smallest of details and discover new perspectives. I couldn't have asked for a better mentor - he's truly helped me grow as a photographer. What's really incredible is how he made something as technical as the exposure triangle accessible and easy to understand. I always thought cameras were intimidating, but he made me feel confident and capable. And now, I'm not just a photographer, I'm an artist with my own unique style and voice. His guidance has empowered me to find my niche and create work that's truly my own. This guy is a game-changer!

Perfect! Rea is a brilliant tutor who not only inspires me to be better and try different and new photography skills- he is understanding, flexible with time and equally excited to teach me. I have loved working together with Rea and look forward to our next lessons (when I hopefully have time!!! :D). I HIGHLY recommend Rea to anyone of any skill, and also if you are looking to push yourself with editing.

Erin is one of my favorite students thus far, she naturally has an eye for photography & is detail oriented. She's not afraid to allow her imagination take charge and that excites me as her photography tutor :)

Perfect! Rea is very knowledgeable in the field of Photography, he is very patient and goes an extra mile in a sense that he offers assistance after completion of the course because he understands that completing the course may not necessarily mean that the student has grasped everything, they may need clarity on one thing or the other as they progress through their photography journey. Now that I am done with photography lessons, I will be coming back for editing lessons after a couple of months.

Beatrice is an amazing student, simply because of her eagerness to learn. As a tutor it’s important for me to create a sort of a friendship to allow my students to be comfortable not only around me but also during their lessons to ensure optimised growth and Beatrice has allowed me to do so. Not only she is intelligent, but also she’s vocal about her needs, which is what every good tutor appreciates.

Great People Skills, Patience and Flexibility "Being a good photographer is more than just mastering your camera or owning the best camera gear, and it’s instead about the inherent qualities that allow a photographer to see beauty in the most unexpected places and capture that beauty in a photograph. Rea taught me that."He put a camera in my hands and taught me how to see the world in a different way. Reach out you won't be disappointed!
