About Simran
My name is Simran, I live in Canada and study at an accredited University. I thoroughly enjoy biology, hence why I have decided to continue my education by enrolling in a masters program of cell biology. I am 22 years old, and I enjoy teaching and getting a one of one with a student to learn more about them. I have tutored at the Ontario Grade 9 level before, which allowed me to familiarize myself with the content.

I have gained extensive exposure to diverse pedagogical methodologies throughout my academic and professional journey. My approach involves engaging in one-on-one sessions with students to discern their individualized learning preferences, whether they lean towards auditory, visual, or reading comprehension modalities. Subsequently, I tailor my lesson plans based on the outcomes of this assessment.
Recognizing the challenges associated with examinations and the emotional strain accompanying a lack of understanding in a particular subject, I exhibit a high degree of empathy. Through a process of trial and error, I have honed my ability to effectively employ active recall as an integral component of the learning process.
