About Jacob
I am a law undergraduate student at the University of Leicester, graduating in May 2019. I have an A at A-level in Maths as well as studying some further maths modules up to this level. I have an A* in GCSE maths and further maths as well as providing help to my peers all throughout this period of time. Relevant people experiences comes from the fact I have worked part-time since the age of 16 including management in a restaurant all through university which has also helped develop my training and teaching skills heading up training of all new employees for the past two years.
As well as this I have two other A-levels in Theatre Studies and Biology as well as studying Chemistry and Further maths up to AS level.

My main method of teaching involves a lot of demonstrations and examples going through and making sure each step is understood. Will break things down in to its component parts as I believe it is more important someone has a baseline understanding that can be applied to any question as opposed to simply a teaching method based on very specific types of questions. Something incredibly important as tests are getting harder and changing more and more each year.
I would make sure to push anyone and make sure they fully understand the topic before moving on. Maths is a subject that makes sense as long as the basic understanding is there, that would be my main focus ensuring they can be given any sort of question and know how to break it down in to easier questions with clearer solutions
