About Claribel

Working across 322+ students has shown me that complex financial modeling often feels like a foreign language to most professionals. My own path was somewhat non-traditional, which actually helps when I explain the cost of capital or DCF valuation to those currently balancing full-time roles.

I hold a BSc in Financial Engineering from Ivey Business School, and I rely on that foundation to teach time value of money and portfolio theory. It is quite common for people to struggle with the nuances of capital budgeting until we strip away the unnecessary jargon. I simply prefer to get straight to the point.

About the lesson

Do you find that your DCF valuation models consistently fail to reconcile when you are under pressure? Many of my students, who are often working full-time, find themselves trapped in manual errors because they never learned the proper structure for time value of money analysis.
