About Katie

Hello! I'm excited to offer my tutoring services in GCSE / Nat 5 / Beginners French and Spanish, leveraging my strong academic background and practical language skills to help you excel.

I am currently enrolled in a Master's at the Complutense de Madrid, the top University in Spain, where I study International Relations. I graduated this year from the University of Bristol with a First Class Honours in BA French and Spanish and distinction in both spoken languages.

I also spent a semester studying at the Universidad Católica de Argentina in Buenos Aires in 2022 where I studied IR and received the top grade in the class, and in 2023 I did a 5 month placement working as a financial communications intern at Steele & Holt, Paris.

I am a friendly, outgoing person with a strong passion for language learning, which allows me to empathise with the challenges you may face. I'm eager to share my knowledge and guide you on your language-learning journey!

About the lesson

I teach my classes on zoom and use a variety of methods tailored to suit the tutee's needs.

A typical lesson involves a short grammar lesson, translation + reading practice + optional speaking practice. I make sure to tailor all my lessons to the student's exam board specification.

I have experience tutoring GCSE French and Spanish free-lance on another site, but I am looking to expand further.

My lessons are for anyone learning A1/A2 French or Spanish up to GCSE level. Any age is welcome!
