About Kat
I'm currently a Visiting Research Fellow at Zurich University. I graduated from Magdalen College, University of Oxford (Double First Class) where I received 4 scholarships for academic merit, taking piano lessons at the Royal Academy of Music. I studied law at the University of London (Distinction), and am a qualified barrister. I assisted with Outreach whilst at Oxford, getting to grips with what tutors in every subject are looking for in personal statements and interviews.

University applications can be daunting - from knowing what to look for at open days, to knowing what Russell Group/Oxbridge tutors are looking for in personal statements and at interview. Let me help! My sessions are student-centric, so let me know what you need help with and I will prepare you so that you leave our session feeling confident. Having volunteered in Outreach at Magdalen College (Oxford), I understand the admissions process. With 7 years of experience assisting applicants with Oxbridge personal statements and interview preparation, I will provide you with tailored feedback and advice, giving recommendations for reading and activities to make your application stand out. Personal statement: I will provide comments, tracked changes, and 200 words of feedback on your first draft. I will then help you to refine it so that your application stands out. (ALL SUBJECTS) Interview preparation: I will provide practice tasks and general questions, and we will mock-run them in session time, to ensure that you feel well prepared for your interview.
