About Ryan

I'm a super enthusiastic Software Engineer/Architect that's always had a love for teaching. I used to teach my peers and organise tutoring sessions on a regular basis at university. Day-to-day I'm teaching junior members of my team about best practices, GraphQL, Terraform and all the other cool technologies out there. I love helping people figure things out and I find it so cool to see how everyone thinks differently. I'd love to help you get into Software Development or help you get over something that you're struggling with at school, college, university or your own personal projects.

About the lesson

We all think and learn differently, that's why one-to-one tutoring is a great way to learn. We all work remotely nowadays and tutoring is no exception. We'll connect online and target the areas you're struggling with or want to learn more about. I've been really fortunate to work in various industries so I'll be able to provide a number of different perspectives on best practices and how you can progress quicker than you ever thought you could. There's nothing to be afraid of either - I barely knew how to program when I started university and now I'm managing software development teams - anything is possible if you put your mind to it. Perfect! Ryan is great at putting my son at ease and explaining the concepts to him. He is able to relate and make the session comfortable so my son had the opportunity to say what he needed help with, by the end of the first session he understood a concept he had struggled with, very very pleased and would recommend.
