I have been tutoring high school maths for over 5 years. I have helped level 8 students achieve a level 9 as well as helping others achieve the pass they need. I treat each pupil individually. I listen to what they say and adapt my approach to suit their needs. I tailor the lesson to cover the topics they struggle with and am very interactive. I work through the problems with the student step by step. I talk through the reasoning as I make it so the students can understand the thought processes involved. They can then apply those thought processes themselves next time. A lesson is usually 1 hour long, but I can accommodate shorter or longer sessions.
