About Ashley
I'm a University of Sussex first class mathematics graduate with huge enthusiasm and passion for numbers. I'm the guy who thinks maths can be beautiful in the right light, and will express this in my teaching. I am very fast with mental maths, and get on especially well with probability and algebra.

I firmly believe that the best way to learn anything is by trying it yourself, not just reading or listening about it; for each topic, I would aim to go through plenty of examples, and very gradually provide less and less help as the student became more and more confident until eventually the know-how just becomes second nature, but only doing so at whatever pace feels comfortable for them. I would start off by attempting to learn a student's strong and weak points and altering my game plan accordingly. I may not have years of teaching experience but I do have true passion and enthusiasm for numbers and a first class degree to match, and will give teaching anything up to pure A-level maths a go.
