About Swastik
Hi!
I’m Swastik, a first-year student at the University of York studying Biochemistry. I have been tutoring for 2 years to people close to family and friends, and I have a passion for passing my own knowledge to people so they can learn/aspire to what they want to be.

I specialise in teaching GCSE Chemistry and Maths, with experience of teaching primary level as well. I am well aware of various exam boards, including AQA, Edexcel, and OCR, so all students are welcome!
My teaching methods are prioritised to the students' needs, and I am able to teach a wide range of students. During lessons, if the student doesn’t know where to start, we will go through the content they have to learn and focus on parts they struggle with to make sure they can understand the topic better with various resources and different ways of teaching this, including non-verbal and verbal ways. To test the knowledge, I will ask the student questions on the topic and look at exam questions, and look at past exam papers so they get familiar with those types of questions.
