About Ideja
I am Ideja, a first year student at the University of St Andrews (in Scotland) studying biochemistry. I have always loved science, and share my passions for it through the non profit that I run, Based In Science, to encourage more youth into STEM (science, technology, engineering, maths). Tutoring is another way for me to continue helping and inspiring more youth to pursue the careers they desire. Lack of quality teaching, daunting topics and little practice can all make STEM subjects seem too difficult to potentially pursue to higher levels, but that is why I am here to help change that!

-School can seem hard if topics are explained properly, but I am here to break through the mould and help YOU ace your subject! -Through a combined approach of theory revision (or learning) and past papers, the 1 hour lessons will guide you through a subject previously found difficult. -A constant check in with the student - and a choice of subject / topic means that exam preparation will become easier and the tougher concepts will be grasped quicker. -I have tutored GCSE Science students for 2 years (helped my student go from a D to an A) -The lessons will be for any students studying sciences at GCSE

Ideja has literally transformed my children’s learning in Science!! My older daughter who was initially on a grade C in Science gained a high B in her GCSES. My younger daughter currently in year 10 understands science concepts in greater detail since having tutoring with Ideja!! She is also enjoying science more.
Ideja has the ability to communicate at children’s levels and is very encouraging. What helps is that Ideja is truly passionate about science but more than anything else to transmit this to other young people.
It has been a real privilege having Ideja as a tutor as she shows true leadership skills for the future and will mentor many other young people!!!
