About Hirde
I am a first year bioengineering student at the university of Sheffield which is a course combining maths, chemistry, physics and biology as well as requiring problem solving. I think this knowledge as well as my communication skills and problem solving skills make me a relatable tutor who has the depth of knowledgeable to teach those subjects at all levels.

My lessons are more focused around asking questions and exploring the reasoning to the answers in an understandable way. This increases depth of knowledge, meaning it will be retained as well as improving exam technique. I think learning where a student is talked at for an hour is not effective and so my style of teaching is more reflective and interactive.
