About Cynthia

Hi, I am Cynthia! I am currently a first-year Medical Student at the University of Queensland. I graduated from Medical Sciences at the University of Western Ontario with a double major in Interdisciplinary Medical Sciences and Microbiology/Immunology.

I have experience teaching students and peers for 3 years as a volunteer tutor. I specialize in Biology.

About the lesson

My teaching methods utilize strategies for students to understand concepts easily by leveraging my experiences from my high school international baccalaureate (IB) courses and my post-graduate career. I will work with my students and tailor their learning experience to ensure they can easily grasp the concepts I teach.

A typical lesson plan is to review the material in class and questions the student may have. In addition, I will prepare my students for upcoming tests and exams.

I can teach elementary and high school students.
