About Ria
I am Ria, a first year neuroscience student at Bart's. I have sat the UCAT and acheived a score of 2800 and band 1 in siuational judgement so I can provide support with preparation for the exam, tips and tricks for each section as well as tips for exam day. I have achieved A* in the subjects I teach at GCSE so I can provide a lot of support for students as I have a good understanding of the subjects. As I have worked with students of all abilities I have been able to build on my verbal and non-verbal communication to help support the students. I am looking forward to help you!

My tutoring philosophy is centered on a holistic and student-centred approach, recognising individual needs and tailoring sessions to maximise comprehension and retension. In UCAT tutoring, my focus will be on skill mastery for each section, providing students with the tools and confidence to excel in each component of the test. In science subjects we will delve into core concepts with practical examples, reinforcing understanding and application. My goal is not only facilitate academic success but also eqipping them with valuable skills for both exams and beyond.Typically a lesson would be an hour long so we would have enough time to clear any doubts that the student has as well as teach the topic in depth. I have tutored students for their GCSEs and I have worked with students of all abilities so I am able to recognise and provide extra support where needed. My lessons will be aimed at GCSE students who might be looking to study medicine or STEM at A-level or university. I will support them in their UCAT preperations as well as maths, biology and chemistry.
