About Eliorah

I am a music graduate from the university of Manchester. Having completed the course with a second class honours, I have continued on to a masters in composition, which I am currently attending (part time). The institution is particularly reputable for performance and composition, with some of the greatest teachers coming over form the RNCM, as well as a lively academic department, and England's largest student music society. Together with an Iranian musician on my course I set up the 'Avazadi Fusion Duo', which combines music of the middle east with Jewish music from Eastern Europe. My undergraduate course has given me a rounded education about music from around the world, the academic, and analytical side of music, though my major was in composition and performance. Unable to afford tuition for some years I faced the challenge of teaching myself the flute without any guidance. Consequently, I understand the pressure of pursuing a career in music within a short frame of time, and have a realistic vision of what can be achieved with dedication and support. I encourage all forms of learning and respect the fact that everyone has their own pace, and rate of improvement. I believe in encouraging people to pursue their dreams, no matter how late they start or how long they take to get there.

She is patient, kind, sweet-natured, very willing to help, extremely organised, extremely encouraging - to the point that they were very excited each week to have her back and of course, plays beautifully herself.
