About the lesson

I cater my teaching and class structure to the needs and goals of my student. Because I care about my students' success, I expect that they put in an effort to learn. I am firm so that the student can be challenged, but my classes are casual, emphasizing oral expression and comprehension through natural conversation.

About Alene

I spent 2 years living abroad in France and Belgium and am a native English speaker with near-native proficiency in French (level C2). Over the course of my university education, I have taken multiple classes in both French and English linguistics, as well as intercultural psychology, modern French culture, and other languages such as Spanish and German. In university, I worked as a teaching assistant and I have a year of private tutoring experience.
