About Katie

I am a 4th year student in UCD and located in Galway/Dublin. I previously attended an All-Irish secondary school where I did all of my subjects through Irish, gaining a H1 in Leaving Cert Irish. I learned all of my Irish in the Connemara Gaeltacht and have a true Gaeltacht pronunciation that is loved. I learned that the most effective way to learn the language was by speaking through Irish daily and that is how I improved. and it is how I intend to help you also improve!

For personal learning or for Irish orals I can help you improve your pronunciation or just help you to practice speaking in Irish.

From beginner to intermediate level speakers, I will speak with you through Irish to help you quickly pick up the Irish language.

Like in the Gaeltacht,the best way to learn how to speak Irish is to practice speaking entirely through Irish. I can help you with this practice twice a week and soon enough your pronunciation will be foirfe! (perfect!)

I can also help you with preparing answers for Irish oral examinations for junior or leaving cert using Irish oral scripts that are easy to follow.

Perfect! Katie is an excellent tutor. She has been helping my daughter with Irish grammar etc. Katie is very good & clear at explaining things & sends notes after the lesson which are simplified & easier to understand. I cannot recommend Katie enough.
