About Rachel
Hi! I’m Rachel — a passionate musician and dedicated teacher offering private flute and piano lessons. I recently completed my Bachelor’s degree in Medical Sciences and Music Performance at Western University, where I served as flute section leader in both the Wind Ensemble and Symphony Orchestra. I’m also a proud graduate of Earl Haig Secondary School’s Claude Watson Arts Program. With over two years of teaching experience, I help students of all levels build their skills and confidence. I’ve earned Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) Level 10 diplomas in both flute and piano, each with First Class Honors with Distinction, and was awarded the RCM Gold Medal for flute in Ontario. I’ve also placed first in the Kiwanis Music Festival. Perfect! Rachel is an amazing flute teacher! She is patient, highly skilled, and tailors the lessons perfectly to my individual goals and pace. Learning a new instrument as an adult can be challenging, but Rachel’s inspiration and encouragement keep me motivated to push forward. Perfect! My 14 year old daughter really likes her lovely disposition, humour, and her teaching ability. My daughter went from an absolute beginner to playing a simple song after one lesson. A wonderful experience!
Perfect! Rachel is an energetic, enthusiastic, encouraging and student oriented teacher. Her instruction is clear and effective. My daughter, at beginner level, learned to play a brief piece of song from scratch within 90 mins which is amazing. Rachel is highly recommended!
