I believe Spanish teaching should be personalized, practical, and inspiring. About the lesson

My teaching philosophy centers on the idea that Spanish should be taught in a way that makes it immediately usable, emotionally engaging, and personally meaningful. I design my lessons around conversation because I believe language is meant to be spoken and shared.

I introduce grammar through a communicative lens—rather than isolating conjugation tables, I show how verb forms function in context and help students apply them through conversation, writing, and comprehension exercises.

My lessons are also infused with cultural insight, helping students see how Spanish varies across countries and communities. We explore music, traditions, customs, and idioms that bring the language to life and broaden students’ perspectives. I customize each session to the learner’s goals, whether they’re planning a trip, preparing for a test, or simply enjoying the challenge of learning something new.

I also make strategic use of technology—interactive platforms, flashcard apps, short videos, and listening activities all help reinforce skills in a fun and flexible way.
