About Nicole
Hi, my name is Nicole and I am currently studying as an exchange student at the University of Montreal Being of Italian and Cuban descent, I have always had a special interest in discovering new cultures. Driven by an early passion for traveling and new experiences, I decided, after attending high school in Italy, to move to Paris so as to have a good command of French and to perfect English by enrolling as a student for English major and Knowledge of the Orient minor. In order to actively contribute to paying the expenses and to achieve more independence, I worked as a babysitter for a few months, helping the kids to learn English, and then I got hired at Disneyland Paris, an experience which allowed me to put into practice my knowledge concerning foreign languages, be it English, French, Italian, Spanish or Portuguese. I've already given French classes to Italian students and Italian classes to French students (8-17 yo) so I am very used to this kind of work. Nevertheless I would have no problem giving classes to adults.

Accordingly to the person's Italian knowledge , I usually decide to focus more on the grammar and linguistic aspect or on the development of a fluent oral speaking ability. In both cases, I believe in the essential importance of acquiring a large vocabulary which allows to enrich the language, be it written or oral. I usually structure my lessons in three blocks: grammar, oral ability and vocabulary. I strongly encourage the students to "immerse" in the Italian world, just by watching Italian movies, listening to Italian music or reading Italian novels/poems.
