Hi! I'm thrilled at the chance to help you achieve your academic goals. With personal experience with overcoming high school STEM's challenges, I bring a unique and supportive approach to tutoring. Having completed the IB myself with a score of 40, I understand what it takes to excel in these subjects and am here to help you not only improve but genuinely enjoy the learning process.

About the lesson

My tutoring methodology is built on simplifying complex ideas. For subjects like IB Math, Physics, and Chemistry, I start by breaking down challenging concepts into smaller, digestible parts. I make use of visual aids, diagrams, and clear step-by-step explanations. To reinforce learning, I also incorporate real-world examples, especially in physics and chemistry, to demonstrate the concepts practically. My approach is interactive, constantly involving the student by asking questions to ensure they’re following along and encouraging them to express any doubts.

Each session begins with a recap of previous lessons and a brief outline of the day's objectives. This keeps the student focused and establishes clear expectations. I present the new topic in a structured manner, starting with basic principles and then gradually moving to more complex applications. I break down equations and proofs into manageable parts, guiding students through each stage.I use practice questions, both standard and challenging, to engage students. For problem-based subjects like math and physics, I demonstrate the thought process behind solving a question and encourage the student to try similar problems independently. At the end of each session, I summarize key points and provide quick reinforcement exercises. For students needing extra practice, I assign small tasks for them to try on their own and discuss in the following session.

My lessons are meant for middle school and high school students studying in the Ontario system, studying IB, AP or the Cambridge curriculum.
