About Brooke
I have been a teacher for over 12 years, working with students in grades TK-12. I enjoy working one on one with students to help concepts develop into deeper understanding. I love to laugh and have fun with my students, but also take learning very seriously! I feel there is a balance for both when it comes to learning. While I love most subjects, reading and writing are my passions! It is still a dream of mine to write a book one day! When I am not teaching, you can usually find me working in my garden, reading a book, walking or drinking my favorite beverage... coffee!

Learning should be fun and interesting... but unfortunately that's not always the case. I take each student individually and figure out the best way to make learning an enjoyable experience for them. Our time together will be meaningful and exciting...the way learning should be! During our sessions we will play a game, review and then work on something new. My lessons are designed for students ages K-12, with a focus on ELA, writing and social studies. My math lessons are geared toward students K-5. I can't wait to work with you!
