About India
I am a former high school math teacher turned lawyer. It is my passion for education that has led me to return to the education setting and be a tutor in my spare time. I am very familiar with standardized tests and enjoy working with students to achieve high scores. I have experience teaching students with special needs, ADD, and ADHD. I also have experience working with English-language learners and high-flying students. I have a Juris doctorate degree and a bachelor’s degree.

My teaching method varies per student. Typically, I help students with their homework, give them their own practice problems during tutoring sessions, and/or review materials for tests. I focus on teaching concepts and problem-solving skills so students have the tools to attack any word problem. Depending on the student and math subject, I like to end the tutoring session with a game; it helps to reinforce what was covered during the session in a very fun way!
