About Igor
I played NCAA tennis at Sonoma State University, graduated with a bachelors degree in Business and Marketing in December 2019. Apart from tennis, I've been working corporate for the past 4 years and continue loving the sport and passing over the wisdom to my students. Even though I no longer compete at the high level, I'm still committed to active lifestyle, healthy eating, running, and working out. Tennis is something that shaped me into who I am today and I want to inspire others to be healthy and better versions of themselves through this sport.

I've been a part of the Gorin Tennis Academy system in Northern California where I had a chance to train with some of the ATP and WTA pro's, as well as the top juniors and college players.
During my university years, I've been regularly helping the academy with coaching the players, passing on the methodology and experience acquired over the years.
My teaching method focuses on mastering the technique before everything else. Too many coaches ignore the importance of hitting the ball correctly, which can leave a permanent mark on the way the player hits the shot, and if not taught properly, it can lead to serious injuries later down the road. I believe building muscle memory is a core foundation that helps the player improve in the long term.
