About Samuell

As an actor, my credits include some of the UK’s biggest television dramas, including The Bill, Silent Witness, Hotel Babylon, EastEnders: E20, The Cut, and Doctors. I also made history as the first British actor to join the global Power Rangers franchise as the Black Ranger.

Alongside acting, I’ve worked extensively behind the camera as a director, giving me a strong understanding of both performance and production. I’ve sat in meetings with producers, spoken at film festivals, and worked across multiple areas of the industry, which allows me to give honest, real-world insight into how the business operates.

My approach is centred around helping you break past limitations, build confidence, and unlock your full potential as a performer. Because I come from an acting background, my directing and coaching style is highly performance-focused — helping you develop truthful, grounded work that connects both on screen and in the room.

About the lesson

Acting is about truth, presence and connection — not tricks, gimmicks or empty promises. With 22 years of professional experience as an actor and ongoing work as a TV director across (BBC, ITV) I offer honest, practical coaching rooted in the reality of the industry. As a director I tell you what you 'need' to hear.

My sessions are open to everyone — from complete beginners discovering acting for the first time, to trained actors looking to sharpen their craft, prepare for auditions, or push their career to the next level.

I don’t believe in rigid classroom teaching or creating pressure-filled “exam” environments. Our sessions are collaborative, creative and tailored to you. We work together to build confidence, unlock authentic performances, and strengthen your understanding of both the craft and the business behind it.

Training can include:
• Screen acting and natural performance
• Audition preparation and self-tapes
• Monologues and scene work
• Confidence building and public speaking
• Drama school auditions and exam support
• On-set etiquette and professional practice
• Networking and building long-term industry relationships
• Understanding how the industry really operates

Alongside performance coaching, I provide genuine insight into navigating the acting world professionally — helping you avoid common mistakes, develop your own process, and grow with confidence as both an artist and a performer.
