About Payton
I have a passion for writing and plan on turning it into a career, going into University to obtain a Bachelor of Arts in English. Over the past several years, I have written hundreds of short stories, and a couple of chapter-long books, one of which will soon be published. When I went to school, Language Arts was the class in which I was the most proficient in, rarely being given a mark that was lower than 80%, with my best scores reaching 100% on numerous occasions. Outside of work, I love reading, watching YouTube (Smosh is my favorite channel, with Dead Meat close behind), watching TV, and playing with my pets. I also love to listen to music and will do so for hours if I'm not busy sleeping in bed all day.

I have different techniques depending on what my students need to learn from me. For creative writing, I focus on helping kids find the words to ideas they already have. I will teach them proper grammar, sentence structure, and how to make something flow. Most importantly, I will help them understand that those things come second to enjoying what one writes. For academic writing, I will help them break down their notes in a structured and organized way. These lessons will be for anyone willing to learn.
