About Mieshal
Hello, my name is Mieshal and I am currently on a gap year. I realised that this was the perfect opportunity to take my passions and use it to help students like yourself achieve the best you can in your academic studies. I am excited to be your tutor as I know how overwhelming studying multiple subjects can be. I have tutored friends and family in the past and the joy that comes with seeing someone improve in their work is unbeatable. I know many techniques and skills that you may not learn at school due to time restrictions and class sizes, so in my lessons you will be learning all of this to give you a boost compared to everyone else taking the same exams as you. I want you to see the enjoyable side of learning as I have been in your position myself not too long ago. The way I teach a student will be tailored to their personal strengths and weaknesses, after identifying this I can make sure each student reaches their highest potential. My techniques of teaching include always referring back to what is expected of you from the point of view of an examiner, looking through top essay examples, analysing texts together and proofreading work to highlight possible points of improvement. Not only do I teach a student to write according to the subject specifications, but also to delve deeper into the topic. The more you understand a topic the more enjoyable the learning will become and the exams will be a breeze. I prioritie your needs and assist you with honing your organisational skills as well as revision techniques tailored to the subject. I achieved grade 7 in my English Literature GCSE and went on to study Classical Civilisations and History in A levels, where I cemented my knowledge on important skills and techniques in essay writing subjects. I want to teach my students to do the same. Currently I can teach KS1, KS2, KS3 and primary school. The typical length of a lesson would be 45 min to 1 hour. I can also do booster sessions for 30 min if a student is short on time and would liked some extra help.
