About Lauren
I am a young adult who has been to university and college, writing many different assignments and papers along the way. When I was young, I did not enjoy my English classes. I thought they were boring. One day I had a teacher who encouraged me to engage more and ended up enjoying the papers I would write and the assignments I would do. I hope that I can be that person for other students to help them enjoy the classes they are taking, and pass them with flying colors.

I will ensure that each lesson plan is suited to each student's learning style, pace, and interests by making things engaging and effective. My goal is to create a supportive environment with no judgment so students are comfortable asking questions. From vocabulary and grammar to reading comprehension and writing, I help students build real-world communication skills they can use in school and beyond. I hope each student will walk out of each session feeling accomplished and confident with what they have learned.
