About Callum
I'm a 21-year-old student with experience in leadership and training, giving me the confidence to discuss and share content in an easy-to-understand and digestible way. Having been less than 6 Years since I sat my own SQA qualifications I'm in a position to understand what it is like to be studying for such exams and the pressures students may face, and I can provide support.

I have completed SQA qualifications of the following levels: National 5, Higher, and Advanced Higher to significant standards. I am currently in my final year of a Microbiology bachelor's degree with plans to go on to further education with a master's. Lessons are for individuals who require support with their learning in Biology at any level below and including Advanced Higher.
Lessons will focus on understanding the topic and applying that knowledge to answer exam-style questions. I will guide lessons, however, they will be tailored for your needs as a student in order to prioritize which topics you personally find more challenging. These lessons will generally be 1 hour long however this can again be adjusted for your particular needs. Lessons will begin by going over the theory of the topic, by using visuals and helpful resources, this will be accompanied by me sharing my screen to allow for annotations and working to be shown and discussed. The lesson will then move to a question-based style where we will complete and discuss exam-style questions related to the topic to enhance your understanding. Resources can then be given out for help offline and to further cement your learning. Throughout the learning questions/discussions are encouraged, not only to assist in your learning but to also begin thinking critically about applications of the topics covered.
Ultimately the lessons can be tailored to your needs, and more or less time can be spent on either section as well as answering any questions that may arise from school work.
