About Eilidh
Hi! I’m Eilidh, a nursing student at Trent University with a passion for working with children and helping students feel confident in their learning. I have several years of experience working with children through gymnastics coaching, summer camps, and volunteering in Honduras, where I worked with children with autism and cerebral palsy. These experiences have taught me how to be patient, adaptable, and supportive while recognizing that every student learns differently. My tutoring style is hands-on, encouraging, and focused on making learning feel approachable and enjoyable. I like to break down challenging concepts into simple steps, use real-life examples, and give students opportunities to practice and build confidence. My goal is to create a positive and comfortable learning environment where students feel supported and excited to learn!

As a nursing student at Trent University, I have developed strong study, organization, communication, and time-management skills that I bring into my tutoring. My teaching style is patient, supportive, and adaptable to each student’s individual learning needs. I focus on making lessons interactive and easy to understand by breaking down difficult concepts, using real-life examples, and incorporating practice questions and activities. A typical lesson will begin by identifying areas the student would like support with, reviewing the material together, and then practicing the concepts to build confidence and understanding.
