About Julia
I have completed the full IB-Diploma, graduating with a score of 6/7 in Higher Level English, History, and French. I am currently a Professor D. O. Robson Scholar at the University of Toronto, where I am in my fourth year. This scholarship was awarded to me based on academic merit, as I am projected to graduate with Highest Distinction this coming year. After UofT, I plan to earn a JD in the United States.
Given I am also a student participating in the Covid-19 online and hybrid learning environment, I am acutely aware of the additional challenges students face when trying to focus and participate in class. I have discovered which methods help me stay on track during online lectures, and finished the academic term last year with a sessional GPA of 3.98. I would be happy to help my students achieve the same success this coming year!

Your first lesson with me will include a brief discussion of your current coursework and identification of the areas in which you require additional support. We then work together to establish some attainable goals (short and long term) so that I may develop a lesson plan tailored to your specific needs! Remember, I am a student too! I know how boring it can get when a professor lectures at you for hours. When developing lessons, I will ensure there are interactive aspects to each tutoring session to help keep you engaged and make our time together as fun as possible!
