About Lauren

Hi, I’m Lauren — a passionate dance teacher, choreographer, and performer with years of experience helping students build confidence, creativity, and performance skills through movement. My background includes teaching and coaching cheerleading, gymnastics, and acrobatics in both primary and high schools, as well as choreographing routines for cheer teams and performance groups. I’ve worked with organisations and schools including Active Bods, Mabel Park State High School, and Mabel Park State School. I also performed with Centre of Artist Development, where I developed strong performance and stage experience. Dance has always been more than just movement to me — it’s about confidence, self-expression, empowerment, and having fun. I love creating a supportive and encouraging environment where students of all ages and skill levels can feel comfortable, motivated, and proud of themselves. I’ve recently launched my own dance company, Revolve Dance, where I run fun, high-energy dance-themed parties and classes designed to help people feel confident, free, and connected through dance. Whether you’re wanting to improve technique, learn choreography, build confidence, or simply enjoy moving your body, I’d love to help you on your dance journey.

My teaching style is high-energy, supportive, and focused on helping students feel confident while enjoying themselves at the same time. Alongside technique and choreography, I’m passionate about helping students build self-esteem, self-love, and confidence through movement. I encourage my students to step outside their comfort zones, give new things a go, and learn to let go of worrying about what others think. Inclusivity is very important to me, and I always strive to create an environment where everyone feels welcome, supported, and never left out. I also teach freestyle and improvisation skills to help students creatively express themselves, connect with their bodies, and develop confidence in their own unique style and movement. My goal is for every student to leave class feeling happier, stronger, more confident, and proud of themselves.
