About Macca Xinlei
As a recent postgraduate of LSE, I am very fond of the academic context and enjoy being on teaching as much as I do learning; learning to teach is equivalent to learning how to learn.
I find it very fruitful and derive much joy from the endeavour of helping those with a passion for learning through the difficult journey of language learning or analytical thinking.
I am motivated by the joy and fulfilment of nurturing the next generation and helping young people acquire new knowledge, especially languages.
For example, I helped GSCE students at Saint Gabriel’s College, who had varying levels of French proficiency, improve their final GSCE results by an average of 2 points
I also successfully nurtured a failing Special Educational Needs student to exceed their predicted grades in English and pass their GSCEs

My biggest strength lies in imparting tried and tested (and intuitive) tricks to learn languages as a non-native speaker and overcome the speaking "fear". My methods have been proven to work for both native anglophones like myself and non-English speakers.
I offer lessons of any length and frequency starting from 1 hour a week. Both in-person, online or a hybrid learning model can be arranged, according to your needs.
I can also accommodate students of any age (from young children to adults), at any level of fluency, and at all educational levels.
