Methodology

I make sure all my students learn in a safe environment. With a group we follow a common flow and goal and move together as a group where the strong music student can help the student of smaller strength. Individual lessons follow an individual plan.

Background

I am a professional musician with 27 years of experience. I teach voice, guitar, bass, keyboards, theory and I'm well verse in pedagogical methods like Kodaly, Yamaha, etc. I teash all styles, levels and ages. I have a master of music degree from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor degree from the University of Calgary.

1993 - Present - SERPASMUSIC - Freelance performer, instructor/clinician and educator of voice, guitar, bass, and theory focusing on:
- Performances with students for public and private events.
- Voice, guitar, bass and theory lessons, from beginner to professional, all styles and all ages.

2013 – 2015 – Tom Lee Music – Teaching guitar (all styles) and voice. Maximized lessons by use of computer applications, Internet and synthesizers.

2005 - 2012 - Mount Royal University - Faculty member of the Conservatory. As a guitar, bass and theory instructor, maximized lessons by introducing classical and world beat music styles and performance practices to rock, blues and jazz.
