About Simrit

As a tutor, I help students prepare for exams, work together on class work they need guidance with and help them improve in a particular subject that they’re struggling in.

I have always loved immersing myself in the French language, and I couldn't think of a better way than using something I am passionate about to help others succeed!

About the lesson

A typical length of a lesson is one hour. Before starting, we will have a discussion on where the student is at, his/her/their strengths and weaknesses, what grade the student is aiming for and my tactics for helping the student achieve that. My teaching methodology for French includes listening practice, speaking practice, reading and writing. There will be a strong focus on vocabulary and grammar. My lessons are intended for secondary school/ sixth form students taking French at GCSE & A-Level.

I studied French at GCSE, A- Level and to a degree level, graduating from the University of Nottingham with a 2.1 in French and Politics.
