About Marie
I am a French-Canadian social worker and native French speaker from Canada. French has always been an important part of my personal, academic, and professional life. As a social worker, communication, patience, empathy, and making people feel comfortable are at the heart of what I do.
I decided to offer French lessons because I enjoy helping people become more comfortable expressing themselves. I know that speaking a new language can sometimes feel intimidating, so I want to create a welcoming and encouraging environment where you can practice without feeling judged or afraid of making mistakes.
I am friendly, patient, and adaptable, and I would be happy to help you build your confidence in French at your own pace.

I adapt my lessons to your level, goals, and learning style. We can work on conversation, pronunciation, vocabulary, comprehension, and everyday expressions through practical discussions and exercises.
Whether you are a beginner or already know some French but feel nervous speaking it, my goal is to help you express yourself more naturally and confidently. Mistakes are part of learning, and my lessons are a safe space to practice, improve, and enjoy speaking French.
