About Harper

My passion for French developed through literature studies, intercultural communication, and travel experiences during university education. I completed a Bachelor's Degree in Languages before earning a PhD in French Language and Society. During the last 13 years, I have helped students improve fluency through supportive teaching and practical communication methods.

I believe every learner improves differently, so I adapt lessons according to confidence level, learning pace, and communication goals. Some students improve through speaking and listening activities, while others respond better to grammar explanation and structured practice. My teaching style combines patience, encouragement, and balanced language development.

Outside teaching, I enjoy reading francophone literature, studying cultural history, and exploring modern French media. Staying connected to the language helps me introduce authentic learning materials into lessons. Teaching French is rewarding because I enjoy helping students communicate naturally and confidently.

About the lesson

My French lessons are designed to help students communicate confidently through practical conversation and structured language learning. I teach pronunciation, listening comprehension, grammar foundations, vocabulary building, sentence construction, and conversational French through engaging activities that make learning enjoyable and approachable. Lessons are supportive, interactive, and focused on steady communication growth.

Beginners improve through pronunciation exercises, guided dialogues, and repetition practice that gradually strengthen speaking confidence. Intermediate learners develop stronger grammar accuracy, listening ability, and smoother conversational flow through discussions and roleplay activities. Advanced students focus on fluent expression, cultural understanding, and natural communication through deeper speaking practice and real-world language tasks.

I encourage students to use French actively instead of depending only on memorization. Lessons support confidence, consistency, and practical communication while helping learners improve comfortably. My goal is to help students become expressive, relaxed, and confident while speaking French naturally.
