About Phoebe
My interest in French developed through literature exploration, cultural studies, and language learning during university education. I completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Francophone Language Studies and have spent the last 4 years helping students improve fluency through supportive teaching and practical communication methods.
I enjoy adapting lessons according to confidence level, communication goals, and individual learning style. Some students improve through listening and speaking activities, while others benefit more from grammar explanation and structured exercises. My teaching style focuses on patience, encouragement, and balanced language development.
Outside teaching, I enjoy reading French novels, exploring francophone cinema, and studying cultural history. Staying connected to the language helps me introduce authentic examples into lessons. Teaching French is rewarding because I enjoy helping students communicate clearly and confidently.

My French lessons help students communicate naturally through practical speaking practice and structured language learning activities. I teach pronunciation, grammar foundations, listening comprehension, vocabulary building, sentence formation, and conversational French through engaging exercises that make learning smooth and approachable. Lessons are interactive, encouraging, and designed to improve communication steadily.
Beginners strengthen their speaking confidence through pronunciation drills, repetition exercises, and guided dialogues that gradually improve fluency. Intermediate learners develop stronger grammar understanding, listening ability, and smoother conversation flow through roleplays and structured discussions. Advanced students focus on fluent communication, cultural understanding, and natural expression through deeper conversational activities and practical language exercises.
I encourage students to use French actively instead of worrying about mistakes during practice. Lessons support consistency, confidence, and practical communication while helping learners improve naturally. My goal is to help students become expressive, relaxed, and confident French speakers.
