About Mary

Hi! I’m Mary :) I’m 19 years old and am studying psychology at the University of Bristol, so am available for online tutoring.

I have a passion for languages been studying French for 7 years. I don't have previous experience teaching French specifically, however I have spent the last few months volunteering as an English teacher in Vietnam and Cambodia, which has allowed me to gain many valuable teaching skills.

I also spent a month in the Sorbonne in Paris doing an intensive C1 French course, which allowed me to strengthen my fluency and grasp of the language. I struggled a lot with French in the beginning, but managed to succeed in my leaving cert and achieve 100% (I can provide proof for this), and | would love to help other students do the same!

About the lesson

Grinds can be tailored to needs of the student, whether they prefer a more structured lesson with homework, or simply a casual conversation where they can strengthen their confidence in spoken French.

We can combine comprehensions, structured writing, listening exercises, and conversations - whatever would be most helpful depending on the individual :)
