About Elise
I completed a Master’s Degree in French Language and Culture after developing a strong passion for communication, literature, and international cultures during my academic studies. Over the last 7 years, I have worked with students from many different backgrounds and learning levels, helping them improve their French skills through supportive and structured lessons. Teaching French allows me to combine language learning with meaningful interaction and personal growth. I enjoy helping students feel more comfortable communicating in a new language.
My teaching style focuses on patience, clarity, and practical communication. Some students learn best through grammar explanations and structured exercises, while others improve more naturally through conversation practice and listening activities. I carefully adapt my lessons according to each learner’s pace, confidence level, and learning goals. Along with technical language skills, I help students improve pronunciation, listening ability, vocabulary retention, and cultural understanding. Building confidence remains one of the most important parts of my teaching approach.
Outside teaching, I enjoy reading French novels, exploring international media, and continuing my own language studies through music, films, and cultural research. These interests help me bring fresh ideas and authentic examples into my lessons regularly. I believe language learning opens opportunities for travel, communication, and personal connection around the world. One of the most rewarding parts of teaching is seeing students use French naturally in situations that once felt unfamiliar or intimidating.

My French lessons are designed to help students communicate clearly and comfortably in everyday situations. I teach pronunciation, grammar patterns, listening comprehension, sentence structure, and vocabulary development through organized and practical lessons that remain easy to follow. Students practice through conversation activities, audio exercises, storytelling tasks, and roleplays that improve confidence naturally over time. I also include travel language, common expressions, and idiomatic usage so learners can understand how French sounds in real conversations. Every lesson encourages participation, consistency, and gradual improvement.
Beginners receive patient support with pronunciation, greetings, basic grammar, and simple communication skills. Intermediate learners improve speaking confidence, response timing, listening ability, and sentence flow through interactive exercises and regular practice. Advanced students focus on fluency, natural expression, and smoother communication in detailed conversations. I carefully adjust lesson pacing according to each learner’s goals and comfort level so progress feels encouraging rather than stressful. Students are supported consistently throughout their learning journey.
Learning French should feel practical, enjoyable, and motivating. I create a relaxed learning environment where students can practice openly and improve without fear of mistakes. Many learners become more expressive and confident as their communication skills strengthen over time. My goal is to help students build strong language foundations while also enjoying the cultural richness connected to French-speaking communities. Every lesson supports confidence, curiosity, and meaningful language growth.
