About Giselle
I am a French tutor with eight years of experience and a Master of Arts in French Language, Literature, and Applied Linguistics. My French lessons aim to provide a stimulating and immersive learning environment that develops both linguistic and cultural competence. Beginners acquire foundational grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and conversational skills, enabling them to communicate in everyday situations. Intermediate learners expand their knowledge of sentence structure, idiomatic expressions, reading comprehension, and conversational fluency. Advanced learners focus on literature analysis, professional communication, nuanced writing, and advanced verbal expression. Lessons incorporate role-playing, multimedia, literature, discussion exercises, and interactive activities to foster active engagement and understanding. I create a supportive atmosphere where learners are encouraged to take risks, explore new concepts, and develop both linguistic accuracy and expressive confidence.
I structure lessons based on each learner’s proficiency level and individual objectives. Beginners focus on practical communication, intermediate learners refine fluency and comprehension, and advanced learners engage with complex linguistic, literary, and cultural content. Activities blend grammar instruction with real-life conversations, reading comprehension exercises, and written practice for holistic skill development.
Additionally, I include authentic French media, literature, and cultural examples to enrich the learning experience.
