About Caitlin

My interest in French developed from literature studies, intercultural communication, and language learning during university education. I completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Languages before earning a PhD in French Linguistic Communication. During the last 12 years, I have guided students toward stronger fluency through supportive teaching and practical learning methods.

I believe every learner deserves lessons that feel adaptable and encouraging according to their goals and confidence level. Some students improve through listening and speaking activities, while others respond better to grammar explanation and structured exercises. My teaching style focuses on patience, encouragement, and practical communication development.

Outside teaching, I enjoy exploring francophone literature, studying regional language styles, and participating in cultural exchange activities. Staying connected to the language helps me introduce authentic examples into lessons. Teaching French is rewarding because I enjoy helping students communicate naturally and confidently.

About the lesson

My French lessons focus on helping students communicate confidently through practical speaking exercises and structured language learning. I teach pronunciation, grammar foundations, listening comprehension, vocabulary building, sentence structure, and conversational French using engaging activities that make learning clear and enjoyable. Lessons are interactive, supportive, and designed to improve fluency steadily.

Beginners improve through pronunciation drills, repetition activities, and guided dialogues that gradually strengthen communication skills. Intermediate learners develop stronger grammar accuracy, smoother conversational flow, and listening confidence through roleplays and discussion practice. Advanced students focus on fluent expression, cultural understanding, and more natural communication through deeper language activities.

I encourage students to practice actively instead of depending only on memorization. Lessons support confidence, curiosity, and practical communication while helping learners improve comfortably. My goal is to help students become expressive, relaxed, and confident while speaking French naturally.
