About Mila

Hi, I'm Mila!

I was born in Paris and grew up in Nice, so French is my native language. I have been playing college tennis in the United States for the past three years, while completing all of my education in France before moving abroad.

I've always loved the French language and consistently achieved excellent grades in subjects that required strong writing and critical thinking, such as literature, philosophy, and history.

Teaching has always been part of my life. My father is a French teacher for non-native speakers, so I grew up watching him help students of all ages gain confidence in French. His approach inspired me to teach in a patient, encouraging, and practical way.

This summer, I am in Port Washington and would love to help you or your children learn or improve your French. Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to become more fluent, I'll adapt every lesson to your goals and make learning enjoyable and effective.

About the lesson

French is my native language, and I tailor every lesson to each student's goals, whether you want to improve your speaking, pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, or confidence.

I know French can seem challenging, but with the right approach, you can make progress much faster than you think. Moving to the United States without speaking English taught me that the best way to learn a language is by practicing it, making mistakes, and learning from corrections.

That's why my lessons focus on real conversations rather than simply following a textbook. From the very beginning, we will speak French as much as possible in a relaxed and supportive environment, helping you build confidence and fluency naturally.
